WHO ARE WE?

GeneaLeb was founded by Edmond Chidiac in 2018. Edmond is a university professor of contemporary history who has deep knowledge of the issue of Lebanese emigration. He is keen on helping members of the Lebanese diaspora reconnect with their ancestral roots.

Over the years, GeneaLeb assisted families from the United States, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Argentina, France, and many other countries. With access to historical archives, church records, immigration documents, and local municipal files, GeneaLeb is uniquely positioned to uncover the stories behind the names and dates of your Lebanese ancestors.

Our work combines meticulous research with a deep respect for family history and cultural identity. We also partner with local historians, village elders, and municipal offices to help bring your Lebanese story to life.

Mission Statement:
To preserve and honor the heritage of Lebanese families around the world by uncovering their ancestral histories and creating meaningful connections with their past.
